We've just released a new update to V-Ray for Maya 3.5! Here's the list of bug fixes in 3.52.03 since 3.52.02: Bug fixes: (.) VFB: Fixed unresponsive UI. V-Ray 5 for Maya is now available for download. Purchase includes one floating user license and one floating render node license. V-Ray 5 for Maya is a complete suite of physically-based lighting, shading and rendering tools tightly integrated into Autodesk Maya.
V-Ray 3.5 for Maya brings faster rendering, more responsive look development, and added realism to high-end VFX and animation projects. This update includes major GPU rendering improvements, and support for a wider range of production features.

V-Ray 3.5 introduces Adaptive Lights, a new algorithm that speeds up rendering in scenes with multiple light sources.
Instant look development in V-Ray’s Interactive Production Renderer
Look development is quicker and more responsive in V-Ray 3.5 for Maya. The improved V-Ray Interactive Production Renderer (IPR) starts instantly, updates faster, and uses less memory.
And new V-Ray Frame Buffer tools accelerate renders with V-Ray IPR.
Improved shading and reflections
For more accurate reflections and realistic skin, V-Ray 3.5 for Maya adds support for the alSurface material.

Online Licensing
With the release of V-Ray 3.5 for Maya, Online licensing option will now be offered. With Online licensing there is no wait to receive a physical dongle, and licenses can be activated in real-time once an order is processed. Online licensing is fast and secure, and you will be able to access your new software much faster. Please note that in order to use the online licensing option, users need to download the latest version (4.0) of the V-Ray license server.
Please note that for now online licensing is available only for purchases of new licenses.
